Reaching the Unreached Conference

Friends at d the Gospel Partnerships asked for a plug for the upcoming Reaching the Unreached day conference in Barnsley. I am very sorry I won't be able to be at this one because I rate some of the speakers very highly indeed as gospel ministers and missionaries in some of the toughest places in the UK.

Here is the conference blurb:

Reaching the Unreached II

Does the gospel work in the hard places of our land?

10am–4.30pm, Saturday 22nd May 2010 :: St Andrew’s Kendray, Barnsley

Council estates, urban priority areas, low income households: the gospel can seem so weak in the areas where we’re ministering – are we doing something wrong?

Following last year’s first 'Reaching the Unreached' conference, the programme in 2010 is aimed at those ministering in the 'hard places' of our country. Steve Casey, Duncan Forbes and Simon Smallwood will reaffirm our gospel confidence whilst helping us to apply these truths in our context. There will also be good time to discuss, share ministry ideas and pray together with others from our region.
