About Me

I am the Director of Living Leadership. I am passionate about training and sustaining biblical leaders for a lifetime of healthy ministry. I originally started the blog to help overcome some writer's block. I didn't believe in writer's block until I got 4 chapters into a book called "Churches Love Your Leaders" and ground to an abrupt halt.

The reason for this blog is to speak about grace, glory and godliness. These are the things that light my fire, the issues I want to think and write about. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is great treasure. I pray the articles and resources that will help you love, honour and submit to him.

Before founding Living Leadership I spent 13 years in student ministry with UCCF. The student mission field is very close to my heart. Helping people become strong disciples of Jesus Christ  in the testing environment of the postmodern academy, helping them be thinking Christians who apply their faith to every area of life and thought is among the most important tasks of the Church in this rapidly secularising age. This concern led to my choice of postgrad studies: Postmodern Culture and Literature at London University.

This blog isn't about me. God is awesome, I am not. God is holy, I am sinful. God is beautiful, his self-revelation in the Bible and in Jesus Christ is the most important feature of the whole of creation, which he made for the display of his glorious grace and upholds every second by his power.

My hope is that this blog and site will help you be a worshipper, a lover of God and a person who delights in his word. A person who will gladly give God your whole life because that is so much better than keeping it for yourself.

Jesus said:

Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become a spring of water welling up to eternal life

It's true. That's what this blog is about.
